Mental tranquility

In these times of pandemic, every individual is emotionally,  psychologically and socially affected.

It's necessary for each one of us to maintain sound mental health to realize our own abilities and cope with normal stresses of life. 

To promote mental health and wellness with stress free functioning the school, MPSFG, initiated mental wellness programme for the teachers on 1st October 2020. The atmosphere was lit with exuberance and positivity with the chanting of OM. The detoxification of mind and soul took place when Gayatri Mantra resonated all round the campus and inner peace was procured.

You are about to overcome something you've been dealing with.  Your mind and heart soon be at peace again.

The weight is being lifted off of you right now. 

Breathe, be patient.

Everything will be fine."

With same thought wellness program at MPSFG for day two began.

To let go off the stress it's important to get rid of all negativity so teachers were asked to write their negative feelings on a paper plane and set it free in air to relax the mind.

The event was spiced up with dance the heart out theme as no one is watching. Such fun and frolic rejuvenated the mind and soul.

Our educators had an educational and fun session with Ms. Richa Sharma(Advisor MPS Group)as a part of  'Wellness Tuesday'. The session started off with 'Om' chanting and shlokas recitation with their meaning explained. The importance of physical, mental, emotional and social health was stressed upon and Ma'am led us through engaging exercises for our Emotional Quotient and Intelligence Quotient. Changing our inertia and mindset are the keys for healthy living.

This gave a wonderful start to our week and left us rejuvenated.

Inner quiet can be cultivated. Meditation is a healing balm to a frazzled brain existing in a hectic world.

Therefore, Day 3 of wellness programme initiated with refreshing asanas and quiet breathing activities as it is said that almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes.

It is exercise that supports the spirit and keeps the mind in vigor.

An open gym in the school served best for the teachers. It helped breathe new life into their stressful regime.

Another activity that engrossed the faculty was a volleyball match which is a perfect example of mind and body coordination. All in all it was an enriching and interesting session.

 

Eliminate everything that gives you conflicted feelings, embrace the things that resonate with your soul so laugh it out loud before it pollutes your feelings.

Pleasantries were shared with each other on Day 5 of wellness programme.

Buddha said- "Your mind is a powerful thing, when you fill it with positive thoughts, your life will start to change".

Therefore, the change is set in with positivity of laughter and let go off the negative vibes and a fun game marked the end of the session that brought liveliness and thrill in teachers reminding them of yester years.
