Raksha Bandhan Celebration 2021

To honour those who risk their lives to protect us and the country, the students from class IX-XII went to celebrate the pious festival of Raksha Bandhan with the army personnel posted in our city.

The students also went to the Zila Magistrate to tie rakhi to the policemen as a thank you for their bravery and hard work. ' The rakhi is not only a thread, it is a promise that our brother will be there no matter what.' The tradition of Rakhi is deeply rooted in the Indian mythology. Be it Draupadi from Mahabharata or Rani Karnavati of Chittor or all of the girls and women since, this festival has always been a festival of promise and love and blessings.

The Primary Section girls of MPSFG marked this festival by making rakhis for their brothers to honour this age-old tradition. Thali decoration was also done by the students from Class VI- VIII.

On this auspicious day we wish blessings and abundance of love, happiness and safety for all.
